And the winner of season 2 of the French version of X Factor is Englishman Matthew Raymond-Barker. The former unsuccessful contestant of the English version of the game made up for lost time, beating favorite Marina D'amico by just over a thousand votes. Following his victory on June 28, 2011, Matthew Raymond-Barker is preparing the release of "Vivre ou survivre", his cover of Daniel Balavoine.
