MC Saci, born José Elias in 1995, has become a standout name in Brazilian funk, rising to national fame from his beginnings in São Gonçalo, Rio de Janeiro. Adopting his stage name from a childhood nickname given to him for his extroverted personality, MC Saci embraced his persona and quickly became popular both in school and beyond.
