Megan Nicole is an American pop singer-songwriter who first gained attention with a video cover of Kings of Leon's 'Use Somebody' in 2009. Other covers followed and in 2011 her first original recording 'B-e-a-utiful' became an Internet hit. Born in Texas, she began singing on a karaoke machine at home as a child and also sang in church and school choirs. Following her hit, she collaborated with other Internet performers such as Tiffany Alford, Conor Maynard and Lindsey Sterling. In 2014 she released an EP titled 'Escape' which featured the single 'Electrified'. In 2015, she appeared in a video-on-demand film titled 'Summer Forever' with Alyson Stoner and Anna Grace Barlow. A cover of the theme song from 'DC Super Hero Girls' titled 'Get Your Cape On' came out in 2017.
