Discovered by Gerald LeVert, R&B group Men at Large was formed in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1992 by singers David Tolliver and Jason Champion. The duo, signed to Atlantic's EastWest Records label, released their debut album Men at Large in 1992, which featured the R&B chart-topping hits "Use Me" (#9), "You Me" (#29) and the chart-topping ballad "So Alone", which reached #5 on the R&B charts and #31 on the Billboard Hot 100, while the album reached #24 on the specialist charts. In 1994, One Size Fits All reached No. 17, including the No. 10 R&B hit "Let's Talk About It", before the duo's success waned with the release of their next two independent albums, Love Struggle & Progress (1999) and Back on Top (2007). Returning in 2016 with Edgar "Gemini" Porter in place of Jason Champion, Men at Large scored another hit with the single "Date Night" (#14 on the R&B charts), before returning in 2022 with the album Love Benefits.
