Men at Work were an Australian pop rock group formed in Melbourne in 1979 by singer-guitarist Colin Hay, guitarist Ron Strykert and drummer Jerry Speiser. Greg Ham, who played flute, saxophone and keyboards, and bassist John Rees soon joined them and they gained international recognition in the early 1980s. They had hit singles and albums, won awards and toured the world but Rees and Speiser left in 1984 and they broke up entirely in 1986. In 1996, Hay and Ham got together again as Men at Work with bassist Stephen Hadley, guitarist Simon Hosford and drummer John Watson. Other musicians signed on and they toured South America and Australia and released a live album titled 'Brazil' in 1998 before they split again in 2002. Their 1982 debut album 'Business As Usual' topped the Billboard 200 and 'Cargo' (1983) went to number three. 'Two Hearts' (1985) peaked at number 50 and they had six singles on the Hot 100 with two that reached number one: 'Who Can It Be Now?' (1982) and 'Down Under' (1983).
