Merwan Rim comes from a musical comedy background and is a self-taught songwriter and musician. After appearances in Les Dix Commandements, Le Roi Soleil and Mozart l'Opéra Rock, Merwan Rim released his first personal song in 2011. "Vous..." was released anonymously in May 2011, before becoming a surprise hit in September 2011. His debut album L'Échappée in March 2012 confirms his all-round abilities, including when singing in English.
