Australian songwriter, musician and singer Mia Wray released her debut album Hi, It's Nice to Meet Me in 2025. Born in Sunrise Beach, Queensland, on October 28, 1995, Mia Isobel Wray-McCann learned to play the piano at a young age, then the guitar through video tutorials. Her songwriting debut dates back to 2011, in a folk pop style, before her evolution towards a more pop style on her namesake debut EP produced by Greg Walker, followed by another entitled Send Me Your Love in 2016. A strong live presence until the Covid-19 pandemic, she signed to Ivy League Records in 2021 and released the Stay Awake EP and the single "Monster Brain" in 2023 , before switching to Mushroom Records, the label under which the following tracks "Tell Her", "What If", "Nice to Meet Me" and "Not Enough" were released. The latter are included on the artist's debut album, Hi, It's Nice to Meet Me, released in March 2025.
