If Augustus Pablo plays the melodica, if Winston McAnuff and Java acclimatized the accordion to reggae, Michael Greilsammer is a fiddler who plays reggae. Born in Israel, Michael Greilsammer has traveled extensively, drawing on a wide range of cultures, particularly Indian and Celtic. Known for his soundtrack to the 2008 film Displaced, Michael Greilsammer released Mitorer in Israel in 2009. Renamed Je Me Réveille for the French market, the album was released in February 2010.
