Michael Mittermeier

Michael Fritz Mittermeier (born April 3, 1966 in Dorfen) is a comedian and author from Germany. Michael Mittermeier sought out the stage as a teenager. The comedian's breakthrough came in 1996 with his stage program Zapped! The accompanying album reaches number 28 in the German charts. Numerous TV appearances increase the artist's fame. His guest appearances in the TV format Quatsch Comedy Club are famous. The next album, Back To Live, follows in 2000. The album climbs to number 2 in the German charts. The next album, Mittermeier & Friends, followed in 2001. It also includes the single "Kumba Yo!" (together with the rock band Guano Apes), which made it to number 3 in the German singles charts. Michael Mittermeier achieves further chart successes with Paranoid (2004) and Safari (2008). And the comedian continued to release longplayers in the 2010s: Achtung Baby! Live (2010), Blackout - Das Live Programm (2013), Wild (2016) and Lucky Punch - Die Todes-Wuchtl Schlägt Zurück (2018). The album Zwischenwelt - Once Upon A Time In Corona follows in 2021. in 2022, Michael Mittermeier releases the anniversary album Zapped!- A TV Junkie Returns - 25 Years Special.
