A Filipino singer, songwriter, and television personality, Michael Pangilinan was born in Pulilan, Bulacan, on November 26, 1995. He appeared on the first season of The X Factor Philippines in 2011, advancing to the Top 20 before being eliminated. "Pare, Mahal Mo Raw Ako," his first single as a solo artist, was released in 2014, as was his self-titled debut EP. Later that year, Michael Pangilinan joined the Filipino boy band Harana and appeared on the group's eponymous debut record. He split his time before his solo career and his commitment to Harana throughout 2015, releasing two singles with the boy band — a cover of the Four Tops' "Baby I Need Your Lovin'" and the original composition "Smile In Your Heart" — and contributing songs to film soundtracks like Bridges of Love ("Pusong Ligaw") and Everyday I Love You ("It Might Be You") as a solo artist. Michael, his full-length debut album, appeared in 2016, with "Hanggang Kailan" and "Everything I Own" serving as the record's biggest singles. One year later, Michael's popularity helped earn the singer the MOR Pinoy Music Award for "Male Artist of the Year." He later appeared on the soundtrack to the 2020 film "I Have a Lover," performing "Hanggang Kailan" once again.
