Mike Tramp

Known as the lead singer of the hard rock band White Lion since its debut in 1983, Mike Tramp is also a guitarist and songwriter with a long career. Born in Copenhagen on June 14, 1961, Mike Trempenau emerged from the Danish hard rock scene with the band Mabel, where he was lead singer from 1976 to 1982, before helping to found White Lion in New York. In 1992, he also led the destiny of the American band Freak of Nature, which produced three albums until 1998. On hiatus from White Lion, and after a local debut in 1978, Mike Tramp embarked on a solo career as singer and guitarist with the album Capricorn (1997), followed by a dozen others, including Recovering the Wasted Years (2002), Songs I Left Behind (2004), Mike Tramp & the Rock'n'Roll Circuz (2009), Cobblestone Street (2013), Nomad (2015) and Maybe Tomorrow (2017). Meanwhile, he reunited with White Lion for a studio album, Return of the Pride (2008). Mike Tramp continued his solo career on a regular basis, performing his band's repertoire on Songs of White Lion (2023) and Songs of White Lion, Vol. II (2024).
