Miss A (stylized as "MISS A" or "miss A") was a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment in 2010. Originally a four-piece consisting of Fei, Jia, Min, and Suzy, they made their debut in June of that year with the single "Bad Girl Good Girl." The single skyrocketed to Number 1 on the Gaon Digital Chart, making Miss A the first act ever to achieve such a feat with their debut release. This success was followed by the release of the single album Bad But Good, which went to Number 6 in South Korea. A few months later, Miss A would repeat the feat with their second single album, Step Up. A Class, their studio debut, came out in 2011 and peaked at Number 9 on the Circle Albums Chart after selling over 36,000 copies, largely thanks to the popularity of the Number 1 single "Good-bye Baby." The following year, both of their EPs—Touch and Independent Women Part III—cracked the Top 10 of the Circle Charts, with the latter also charting in Japan. Over the following years, the group managed to reach Number 2 on the local charts with their second studio LP Hush (2013), and entered the Top 5 once again with their third extended play Colors, released in 2015. Despite their ever-growing popularity, Miss A officially disbanded in 2017, one year after Jia's departure from the band.
