France is renowned for its French touch DJ speciality, for its mainstream house DJs, and since 2001 and "Frank Sinatra" for its Miss Kittin DJette. Grenoble-born Caroline Hervé has made a name for herself by forging her own style with The Hacker, electroclash/disco-trash where all styles mix and where the young woman lays down her ironic lyrics in an icy, disillusioned voice. At ease both in mixing and composing, she regularly releases full-fledged albums, such as Batbox in 2008. She released Two with her accomplice The Hacker in 2009, before returning alone in 2013 for the ambitious double album Calling from the Stars.
