Vietnamese pop singer and actress Miu Lê was born Le Anh Nhat on July 5, 1991, in the city of Ho Chi Minh. After a brief stint in modeling, she made her acting debut in Le Hoang's 2009 teen comedy series Nhung Thien Than Ao Trang and later kicked off her singing career with a few singles for the NewGen Entertainment label that went largely unnoticed by local audiences. Her big break came in 2011 when she switched to Avatar Entertainment and completely revamped her style on the album Nhận Ra, the first of her releases to achieve widespread popularity in Vietnam. In the following years, singles like "Gia Vo Nhung Em Yeu Anh" (2013), "Ta Là Cho Nhau" (2014) with Only C , and "Yeu Mot Nguoi Co Le" (2016), as well as a series of features on film soundtracks, established as one of the most popular V-pop performers of her generation. Following a brief hiatus from the music industry, Miu Lê returned in full force in 2022 with the Karik collaborative single "Vì Mẹ Anh Bắt Chia Tay," which surprisingly entered the Australian Top 100 at Number 46.
