Mocky

Known for his eclecticism and offbeat humor in sometimes improbable stage performances, Mocky (born Dominic Salole in 1974) is an eccentric Canadian musician. His electro-pop music, on the edge of the genres of his time, also borrows from hip-hop culture and jazz. A close friend and collaborator of Feist, Gonzales, Jamie Lidell and Peaches, he has also produced or remixed Puppetmastaz, Jane Birkin, Micky Green and Nikka Costa. Author and producer of his own albums In Mesopotamia (2002), Are + Be (2004) and Navy Brown Blues (2006), Mocky recorded an all-acoustic album in Paris, Saskamodie (2009), followed six years later by Key Change (2015), for his own label.
