Inspired by Nordic music and the landscapes of his native Norway, Moddi and his accordion paint melodies of tortured poetry. Born in 1987 on an island in northern Norway, Moddi made his debut in 2008 with the Rubato EP. His debut album Floriography was released locally in February 2010 to critical acclaim. In November 2010, Moddi toured France as support act for Angus & Julia Stone. Floriography is released in France in March 2011, before Moddi embarks on a solo European tour.
