Moneybagg Yo

Real name Demario DeWayne White, Jr, Moneybagg Yo was born on September 22, 1991 in Memphis, Tennessee. His first mixtapes were released in 2012, including From Da Block 2 Da Booth and October 20th. In 2016, he released three more, one of which won a Memphis Hip Hop Award for Mixtape of the Year. It's Federal Reloaded, a retelling of the first episode of the Federal series, featuring guest collaborations from Y Grizzle, Young Dolph and OG Boo Dirty, among others. The follow-up, ELO (Everybody Lives On), welcomes Yo Gotti and Migos' Quavo among others. His work with Yo Gotti continues on a joint effort entitled 2 Federal, released in October 2016. Heartless then arrived in February 2017 and did well on the US charts. The mixtape features appearances from YFN Lucci and Lil Durk, among others. In October 2017, Moneybagg Yo released Federal 3X, his debut with Interscope after signing a distribution deal. The mixtape features a guest appearance by YoungBoy Never Broke Again. In 2018, Moneybagg Yo delivers a compilation titled Moneybagg Yo Presents: NLess Ent x Bread Gang. On February 14, 2018, Moneybagg Yo releases the follow-up to Heartless, 2 Heartless, with invitations extended to Quavo, Yo Gotti, Lil Baby and BlocBoy JB, as well as production by Zaytoven and Southside. On July 27, 2018, Moneybagg Yo released a 9-track mixtape entitled Bet on Me, with contributions from YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Lil Baby and Gunna as well as production handled by Tay Keith, Drum God, and Javar among others. It wasn't until November 2018 that Moneybagg Yo released its first studio album, called Reset. The second, 43va Heartless, arrives in May 2019, followed by Time Served in January 2020. 2021 sees the release of the rapper's fourth studio album, A Gangsta's Pain, the first to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, featuring collaborations with Kaash Paige, Big30, Tripstar, Polo G, Lil Durk, Jhené Aiko, Pharrell Williams and Future on the track "Hard for the Next" (No. 49). Two years later follows Speak Now, including a duet with country singer Morgan Wallen on "Whiskey Whiskey" and collaborations with Lil Durk, Chris Brown and Rob49, then Speak Now Or..., with additional contributions from BossMan Dlow and YTB Flatt.
