Mortelle Adèle is a humorous comic strip for young people created in 2012 by cartoonist Antoine Dole, who works under the pseudonym Mr Tan. The first volumes were illustrated by Miss Prickly, and subsequent ones by Diane Le Feyer. The heroine is a little girl named Adèle, with a very strong character. Her author imagined her as a reaction to the bullying he experienced at school in his youth. The comic became a popular success, regularly ranking among the best-sellers in its category. In 2017, a board game was released, followed by magazines in 2019 and novels in 2020. In 2018, singer Aldebert immortalized the character in a song on his album Enfantillages, les 10 Ans: "Poussez-vous les moches!" . Actress Dorothée Pousséo lends her voice to the character. The singer went on to devote a full album to the character, Mortelle Adèle - Show Bizarre, in 2021. The following year saw the release of 365 Jours pour Être Sage, an album of Christmas songs featuring Dorothée Pousséo as the young heroine, with lyrics by Mr Tan and music by Vincent Blaviel.
