Moussu T is the side project of Tatou aka Moussu T, former lead singer of Massilia Sound System. Accompanied by his accomplices, known as lei Jovents, he aims to recreate the atmosphere of a semi-fantastical Marseilles of the 1930s. Moussu T's three albums blend songs in patois, references to Vincent Scotto operettas, jazz, blues and Brazilian music. Home Sweet Home, released in October 2008, deepens this vein of nostalgia, full of charm and humor. In 2010, the album Putan de Cançon earned him his first foray into the French top hundred. Moussu T and his stainless-steel Jovents are back in the spotlight in 2014 with the delicious Opérette.
