Mr. FijiWiji is the stage name of Brendan Galdo (born on October 5, 1995), an accomplished electronic music producer, mostly known for his subtle blend of chillout, deep house, and ambient music. Throughout his career, he has produced remixes for artists like Aruna, Bingo Players, and Louis the Child. Galdo jumped into the EDM scene with his 2011 single “Insomnia,” which came out via Canadian label Monstercat. Shortly after, he released Keeping It Surreal (2012), his debut EP. Following an ambient collaboration with Tritonal in 2014 (“Seraphic”), and inspired by his recent move to college campus, he released the EP Growing Up (2015). Almost a year later, he had his first taste of recognition with Dogma (2016), an EP that helped Galdo get into Billboard’s Next Big Sound chart, peaking at Number 12. In subsequent years, the producer released Lost Lost Lost (2018), his official studio debut, featuring guest appearances by Exist Strategy, Holly Drummond, and Matt Van, and the singles “Iris” (2019), “Numb” (2020), and “Safe” (2020).
