My Own Private Alaska, or M.O.P.A., hails from Toulouse, France, and blends metal-influenced alternative rock with melodies inspired by classical music. The trio's astonishing blend began with M.O.P.A. in 2007, followed by Amen in 2010, produced by none other than Ross Robinson. In 2011, My Own Private Alaska released The Red Sessions, an acoustic album perfectly suited to their distinctive style.
