Nadja

Born in 1973 in Saint-Méthode (Canada), Nadja, whose real name is Nadja Gagnon, is a pop singer from Quebec. She began her career by joining a group touring hotels in Asia. She did this from 1999 to 2005, then returned to Quebec to perform in resto-bars. In 2009, she released her debut album of the same name, and made a name for herself with her cover of Elvis Presley's " Hound Dog ". It went gold, selling over 50,000 copies. In June 2010, she opened for singer Smokey Robinson at the Ottawa Jazz Festival. Nadja presents her second opus in March 2011, entitled Everything's Going my Way. She opens for Rod Stewart at Célébrations Lévis 2011. In November of the same year, she releases her third album, Noël, on which she sings in French, on record, for the first time. In 2013, she took part in the second season of The Voice, la plus belle voix, on the French channel TF1, and was eliminated on the 7th episode. In September of the same year, she released the opus Des Réponses. The title track becomes a hit on Quebec radio. She spends 2014 touring Quebec cities with the Des Réponses show.
