Nanaka Suwa

Nanaka Suwa, born on November 2, 1994, in Kawagoe, Saitama, Japan, is a prominent voice actress and singer affiliated with the agency Stay Luck. She is widely known by her nickname "Suwawa" and is a member of the idol group Aqours, which is part of the "Love Live! Sunshine!!" project where she voices the character Kanata Matsura. She formally debuted as a voice actress in 2013 after passing an audition for a radio program on Super! A&G+, a division of Cultural Broadcasting. Before her major break in voice acting, she was part of a duo called "Supreme Daydream" with Takahiro Koubayashi, where they were active in music, produced through their connection with A&G Academy. In 2015, her career took a significant turn when she joined the cast of "Love Live! Sunshine!!" and began her involvement with Aqours, which brought her considerable recognition. This role led to her receiving the Singing Award at the 11th Seiyuu Awards in 2017 as part of Aqours. Suwa transitioned from Amuleto to Stay Luck in 2021, marking a new chapter in her career. She continues to engage her fans with her voice acting and singing talents, contributing to various projects, including the released album Ashiato Ga Tsumugu Sekai (2024).
