Napkey

Napkey is the pseudonym of French electronic musician Benjamin Cholet. Intrigued by his father's jazz piano playing, he began playing music at the age of 15. Also lulled by the sound of synthesizers in the 1980s, and in particular by the melodic works of Jean-Michel Jarre or the compositions of Hans Zimmer and Alexandre Desplat, he developed an interest in electo, which he himself describes as soft, melodic and sometimes epic deep house. In 2015, his debut EP Orange laid the foundations for an expansive, cinematic sound, a sensation experienced when listening to the singles released in 2016: "Last Thoughts", "Parade nuptiale "and "Le Chat", as a foretaste of the release of the album 42 in 2017.
