Natos y Waor are a Spanish hip-hop duo from Madrid. Formed by MCs Fernando “Waor” Hisado and Gonzalo “Natos” Cidre, the pair first met each other during rap freestyle battles in 2010 and bonded over their mutual love for hip-hop. Their first album Por la Jeta arrived in 2011 and made quite an impact on Madrid’s booming rap scene. Over the course of the next few years, they went on to release a string of critically-acclaimed albums such as Catarsis (2012), Hijos de la Ruina (2012), Caja Negra (2014), Martes 13 (2015), Hijos de la Ruina Vol. 2 (2016), and Cicatrices (2018). A third volume of their Hijos de la Ruina series came out in 2021, spawning the single “Más Alcohol,” which climbed to Number 62 on Spain’s Promusicae charts. They also cultivated a large online fanbase, accumulating over 80,000 subscribers on their video streaming channel, and performed at some of Spain’s most popular venues, such as Barcelona’s Sala Apolo, Madrid’s Palacio Vistalegre, and Zaragoza’s Ciudad Hip Hop Festival.
