Neal Black

Blues rock boogie guitarist Neal Black has spent most of his career in Europe, and particularly in France. Emulating Stevie Ray Vaughan and George Thorogood, Neal Black began performing in his native Texas in the 1980s. He then joined the New York blues scene in the Nineties. After a stint in Mexico, this tireless traveler settled in France in 2004 and became a fixture on the European blues circuit. Signed to the DixieFrog label, Neal Black has made a name for himself with Neal Black and the Healers (1993), Black Power (1994), Handful of Rain (2007),and Sometimes the Truth in 2011.
