Niels Destadsbader

Niels Destadsbader (August 19, 1988) is a Belgian actor, singer, and TV host. He is mostly known for his participation in the series Amika, De Elfenheuvel, and F.C. De Kampioenen. Apart from his acting career, he has also presented several reality shows such as Dansdate, K3 Zoekt K3, and De Wensboom. Niels Destadsbader has also taken part in the reality show Steracteur Sterartiest as a contestant, making it to the semi-finals in 2008. His debut album Speeltijd came out in 2016 and quickly rose to the top of the Belgian charts, winning 9 awards at the MIAs and obtaining platinum certification shortly after. Lightning struck twice as his sophomore effort Dertig (2018) achieved pole position in Belgium and was presented at a sold-out show at the Antwerps Sportpaleis. The album was also certified double platinum and was awarded 5 MIAs in 2019. Preceded by the singles “Mee Naar Boven” and “Annelies,” his third full-length Boven de Wolken (2019) also hit Number 1 on the Flemish charts. In 2021, Niels Destadsbader scored yet another Number 1 hit with the standalone single “De Wereld Draait Voor Jou,” a collaboration with Belgian DJ and producer Regi.
