Real name Nicola Albera, Italian rapper Nitro was born in Vicenza, Italy, on February 11, 1993. He was introduced to hip-hop culture through freestyle, and soon joined the Gioventù Bruciata collective, where he met MC Moova and producer CeCe Dub. His first mixtape, Born2Burn, was released in 2010. He made a name for himself on a regional level by taking part in battles, and gradually gained notoriety on a national level. Under the pseudonym Wilson Kemper, he takes part in the group The Villains, which also includes Moova, Venom and Zethone, dabbling in genres such as electro, dubstep, hip hop and hardcore rap. In 2012, he took part in the Spit festival, organized by MTV. This was another turning point, as he reached second place, beaten only by Ensi. He then joined the Machete Crew collective, founded by rappers Salmo, El Raton, Enigma and DJ Slait. The same year, he took part in Fabri Fibra's Casus belli EP. His solo career then really took off, and he released four albums in seven years: Danger in 2013, Suicidol in 2015, No Comment in 2018 and GarbAge in 2020, each time with insolent success in the local charts.
