Japanese singer-songwriter NOA was born in Tokyo, Japan, Japan on March 13, 2000. Inspired by the film High School Musical at a young age, he began singing and writing his own songs from the age of 8. Moving to Korea at 12, he was scouted at a Korean salon, by a prominent hair and makeup artist, passing his first audition at YD ENTERTAINMENT, becoming their first Japanese trainee. Returning to Japan in 2018, he made his debut in January, 2020 with “LIGHTS UP” followed by “TAXI” (featuring Japanese DJ Tofubeats) in June, which became an online viral hit. Making his major debut with Universal Music in 2021, NOA released his first EP Too Young: a multi-genre record that draws upon pop, R&B and dance music. In 2022, he released four singles: “True Colors”, “It Ain’t Over”, “Paradise” and “Just Feel It” featuring Japanese singer Ayumu Imazu, which reached number 2 on the Line Music Top 100 Japan charts.
