The electropop band NVDES is based in Los Angeles, California and is the brainchild of Josh Ocean - better known as one half of the electronic duo Ghost Beach. Ocean has gathered around him a loose collective of talent to create quirky, experimental pop. Their debut single, titled 'Before the Weekend Comes', was released in 2015 and Ocean has followed it up with a string of catchy ear worms, most notably `DYT (Do Your Thing)' in 2018 which featured Rachel Smith (Remmi) on vocals. The track was used in an iPhone advert and can be considered their breakthrough tune. Apple's creative team selected the band's music for another advertising campaign in 2019 when they used the track 'Brazooka' to promote the iPhone 11.
