Oberkampf

This legendary Parisian punk band, named after a metro station, didn't make it past the second half of the '80s, despite a good album, Cris sans thème, and a song, Couleurs de Paris (1982), which became one of the anthems of the alternative scene at the time. Joe Hell pursued an interesting solo career, with the 1988 EP "l'Affront national" and a 1990 self-titled album featuring his Iggy Pop-style voice.
