Odile Pierre was a French classical organist, composer and teacher who was acclaimed internationally and was awarded France's Legion of Honour and Ordre National du Mérite. She studied music as a child with French organist Marcel Dupré and other noted performers at the Conservatoire de Rouen and the Conservatoire de Paris. She performed around the world and taught at major institutions in her homeland. She released several albums including 'Bach: Les Grandes Toccatas' (1975), 'Widor: Organ Symphonies Nos. 4 & 5' (2017) and 'Odile Pierre an der französischen Chororgel des Wormser Kaiserdoms' (2018). She died aged 87 on 29th February 2020.
