Born on July 12, 1978, in Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture, and raised in Chiba, Yoshinori Ohashi, better known by his stage name Ohashi Trio, is a multifaceted Japanese musician. He began learning piano at the tender age of four and expanded his musical repertoire during his childhood to include the drums, electric bass, electric and acoustic guitars—thanks to the various instruments available at home. At 18, Ohashi's formal education in jazz piano commenced at the Senzoku Gakuen College of Music. His career in music took a professional turn in 2003 under his real name, and he soon made his mark with his contributions to the 2004 film 'Club Shinchugun.' Ohashi's career spans various roles including composing, arranging, and music production for films and commercials, as well as producing and mixing albums for other artists. In 2007, he ventured into singing with the launch of his self-produced album PRETAPORTER under the name Ohashi Trio, marking his debut as a singer. His major debut as Ohashi Trio came in 2009 with the mini-album A BIRD released under rhythm zone, followed by his first major album I Got Rhythm?(2009) which topped iTunes Japan's album charts. Celebrating his 10th anniversary in 2017, Ohashi held a solo concert at Tokyo International Forum Hall A. His album Golden Hour (2024) adds to his rich discography, showcasing his ongoing evolution and prominence in the music scene.
