With a career spanning over two decades, he has carved a niche within the global electronica scene, seamlessly merging influences from dub, ambient, downtempo, and psychedelic genres. Starting his journey in the late 1990s, OTT gained recognition for his innovative approach to production, characterized by rich textures and layered instrumentation. His albums, such as 2003's Blumenkraft, 2008's Skylon, and 2011's Mir showcase his ability to create hypnotic rhythms and ethereal melodies that transport listeners to otherworldly realms. OTT’s live performances are a sensory experience, often incorporating visual art and immersive environments, reflecting his deep connection to the psychedelic culture. He has collaborated with various artists, including Simon Posford aka Hallucinogen/Shpongle and contributed to numerous works, solidifying his status as a key figure in the underground electronic scene. He has also worked with Sinéad O'Connor, the Orb, and Embrace during his career as a producer and sound designer. In 2024, he released new album Hiraeth.
