Paolo Meneguzzi

Paolo Meneguzzi, born in Mendrisio, Switzerland, on December 6, 1976, is a well-known Swiss-Italian singer and songwriter. His passion for music emerged at a young age, heavily influenced by his artistic family, particularly his grandfather. He first gained international attention after winning the prestigious Viña del Mar Festival in Chile in 1996 with the song "Arià Ariò," which marked the beginning of his musical career. He soon found success in Italy as well, participating in the renowned Sanremo Music Festival multiple times. In 2003, Paolo Meneguzzi released the album Lei è, which went double platinum, solidifying his place in the Italian music scene. His notable singles like "In Nome dell’Amore" and "VeroFalso" quickly climbed the charts. Throughout his career, he has been a constant presence at the Sanremo Festival, achieving several top positions with songs like "Guardami Negli Occhi (Prego)" and "Musica." In 2008, he represented Switzerland in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Era Stupendo." That year, he released the album Corro Via, which reached number 8 on the Italian charts. This success was followed by other popular albums such as Miami (2010), the compilation Best of: Sei amore (2011), and Zero (2013).
