A Eurodance band founded in 1994 by composer, songwriter and producer Patrick Samoy, Paradisio hit the big time two years later with the hit "Bailando ", which reached number four in the French singles chart and enjoyed similar success in many other European countries. Two other chart-toppers soon followed: "Bandolero" and "Vamos a la DIscoteca". Between 1996 and 2015, the band had several female singers, the most recent being Shelby Diaz, whose remix of 2009's "Bailando " featured revised lyrics and was renamed "Bailando Me Dices Adios". The band continued their career in the 2010s, riding a wave of nostalgia to perform with other stars of the 90s eurodance movement in numerous European cities.
