Pasto-1

Pasto-1, known also as Pasto, is a popular Indonesian music group that was formed in 2002. Discovered through the talent search program Bintang Cari Bintang, the original line-up included singers Bayu, Rudolph, Meltho and Rayen Pono with Bayu Risakotta joining in December 2005. Their debut album, I Need You (2007), achieved limited commercial success, however it was the group’s popular cover of Ratu song "Aku Pasti Kembali” in 2009 that led them to record their second album, Kembali (2009), followed by With the Stars (2014), a collaboration with well known Indonesian artists, including Jessica Mila, Maia Estianty, and Kevin Julio. The group endured a major change in line-up shortly after, which saw the remaining members change their name to Pasto-1. However after recording another Ratu cover, "Salahkah Diriku Terlalu Mencintaimu,” Pasto-1 was unable to maintain momentum, and on the brink of disbandment, was revived by their label, Le Moesiek Revole, who restored the original name and revived Pasto as a duo, featuring Sion Simbolon and Jason Gunawan. Their 2017 track "Ku Tak Sempurna," propelled them into the spotlight, seeing Pasto record another 15 singles between 2017 and 2022, including "Terbaik Untuk Ku" (2017), "Kisah Kasih Di Sekolah" (2019), "Cintamu Bukan Untukku" (2020), "Sayang" (2020), "Sebelum Lebih Terluka" (2021) and "Tentang Kita" (feat. Salshadilla) (2022) . In April 2023, the duo released emotionally charged ballad "Takut Kehilanganmu," with the lyric video receiving over 50,000 views during the first two weeks of circulation.
