An impersonator who became a very popular TV host in the early 1980s(Sébastien c'est fou, Carnaval...), Brivé native Patrick Sébastien (b. 1953) loves nothing more than to make people laugh and provoke them. There's only one step from laughter to song, and he takes it in stride with his memorable hits: "Le Petit bonhomme en mousse", "Tourner les serviettes", "Fiesta"... Author of some surprising bluffs (his thriller La cellule de Zarkane by Joseph Lubsky), this king of the party has given dozens of novice artists a chance (Shirley & Dino) and directed the film T'aime (2002). A regular host of Le Plus grand cabaret du monde, the saltimbanque and professional entertainer continues to sing to the tune of "Ah, si tu pouvais fermer ta gueule" (2008) and the album Faut Qu'on Slash (2011). After 2013's À L'Attaque , the next Ça Va Être Ta Fête includes the hits "On est des dingues " and "Il fait chaud". Two years later, the party continues with Ça Va Bouger, followed in 2016 by Le Sébastien Nouveau Est Arrivé. Still active in TV and film, in 2018 he recorded a festive new album, J'Assume Tout.
