A member of Tangerine Dream from 1986 to 1992, Austrian Paul Haslinger then moved to Los Angeles, California, where he devoted himself mainly to film music. In 1998, he joined composer Graeme Revell's team and contributed to the soundtracks of blockbusters such as Pitch Black and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. He then enjoyed his own success with scores for Underworld (2003), Death Race (2008) and some twenty other blockbusters. A complete artist, Paul Haslinger is also the author of music for video games, such as X Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), inspired by the film of the same name. In 2011, Paul Halinger will star in The Three Musketeers, the umpteenth film version - this time in 3D - of Alexandre Dumas' best-selling Les Trois Mousquetaires.
