Shaylee Jade Curnow, professionally known as Peach PRC, is an Australian pop singer, songwriter, and social media personality. Born on April 2, 1997, in Australia, Peach grew up in the southern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia, developing a passion for music from a young age and writing songs as early as 8 years old. Peach gained recognition as one of the most successful Australian social media content creators, building a dedicated following. In 2019, she independently released her debut single "Blondes.” In February 2021, Peach signed with Island Records in Australia and Republic Records in the US and her debut major label single, "Josh," was released later that month, debuting at number 38 on the ARIA Singles Chart. The song achieved Gold certification and earned her a nomination for Most Performed Pop Work at the APRA Awards. Curnow continued to release new music, including the single "Symptomatic" in June 2021, followed by the two-track single "I've Been Bad, Santa" / "Christmas Kinda Sucks" in October, and "Heavy" in November. Her 2022 singles, "God is a Freak" and "Forever Drunk," achieved considerable success on the New Zealand charts, reaching number 13 and 8, respectively. On February 3, 2023, Peach announced her debut extended play, Manic Dream Pixie, which was released on April 28.
