Pedro Sampaio (December 21, 1997) is a Brazilian DJ and producer who performs in the funk carioca genre. Born in the city of Rio de Janeiro, he began playing percussion during his teenage years and was discovered by Victor Junior while DJing at a party. At the age of 17, he decided to devote himself entirely to music by joining Dennis DJ's team. After gaining online traction with several remixes on his video-streaming channel, he landed a recording contract with Warner Music Brasil in 2018. "Sentadão," his debut single for the label, appeared in 2019 and quickly took over the Brazilian airwaves, rising to the top spots of the streaming rankings. Following a handful of non-album singles during 2020 and 2021, Pedro Sampaio released his first studio full-length Chama Meu Nome in early 2022. Featuring cameos by MC Jefinho, MC Don Juan, Anitta, Mateca, Ferrugem, Zé Vaqueiro, Luísa Sonza, and KVSH, the album also included the MC Pedrinho collaboration "Dançarina," which peaked at number 4 on the Brazilian Singles Chart. His second studio album, Astro, arrived in 2024 and featured Marina Sena on the sax-laden single "Escada do Prédio," a pop track that reached number 11 on the Brazilian Hot 100.
