Pinguini Tattici Nucleari (Tactical Nuclear Penguins) are an Italian rock band formed in Bergamo, in 2010, with a lineup that includes singer, guitarists Riccardo Zanotti, Nicola Buttafuoco, Lorenzo Pasini, Simone Pagani and Elio Bifi and drummer Matteo Locati. Albums include Il re è nudo (2014), Diamo un calcio all'Aldilà (2015) and Gioventù brucata (2017). The album Fuori dall'hype came out in 2020 with tracks including "Sashimi", "Verdura" and their greatest hit, "Ringo Starr", which the group performed at the 2020 Sanremo Music Festival. One of the most Italian popular rock bands of its generation released in 2020 the EP Ahia!, including the single "Scooby Doo", a certified platinum record like its successors "Scrivile scemo" and "Pastello bianco" in 2021. In 2022, the band returned to the stage with the Dove Eravamo Rimasti Tour, after the Covid-19 pandemic. A new single, "Giovani Wannabe", appeared this year and was certified as a platinum record as well. Other singles followed, like "Dentista Croazia" and "Ricordi", which topped the Italian Singles charts. Celebrated at the MTV Europe Music Awards, Pinguini Tattici Nucleari issued their fifth album Fake News (2022), ranked number one in the Italian charts, before a stadiums tour including sets in San Siro (Milan) and Rome's Olympic Stadium. In 2024 followed the album Hello World, accompanied by singles such as "Islanda" and "Burnout".
