The K-pop girl group Pink Fantasy was formed in 2018 by Daewang, Aini, SeeA, Yechan, Harin, Arang, Heesun and Rai. Based in Seoul, South Korea, the group recorded the debut single "Iriwa" before Rai left the lineup and was replaced by Yubeen. A number of lineup changes followed, and Pink Fantasy released its first single album, Fantasy, in 2019. SangA joined the group that same year, with Heesun temporarily leaving. Shadow Play followed in 2020, featuring vocals from four members—SeeA, Harin, SangA, and Arang—and reaching number 43 on the Circle Album Chart. SangA left the roster several months later, and Pink Fantasy reshuffled its lineup yet again before releasing an EP, Alice in Wonderland, in 2021. With Heesun back in the group, Alice in Wonderland reached number 39, giving the group its first Top 40 hit in South Korea. A third single album, Bizarre Story, was released in 2022, marking the debut appearances of new members Momoka and Miku. Despite being billed as a comeback attempt, Bizarre Story stalled at number 98 on the Circle Album Chart. Harin and Yechan left the group in 2023, and Pink Fantasy ceased operations at the end of the year before announcing an indefinite hiatus on January 1st, 2024.
