Plastic Tree

Plastic Tree are a Japanese alternative rock band formed in Chiba, Japan in 1993 featuring singer and guitarist Ryutaro Arimura, guitarist Akira Nakayama, bassist Tadashi Hasegawa and drummer Kenken Sato, who succeeded Hiroshi Sasabuchi in 2009. Their first single, 'Rira no ki', came out in 1996 and their debut album 'Hide and Seek' in 1997. They have released many albums since including 'Parade' (2000), 'Cell' (2004), 'Utsusemi' (2008), 'Ammonite' (2011), 'Hakusei' (2015) and 'doorAdore' (2018). Other singles include 'Tremolo' (1999), 'Planetarium' (2001), 'Yuke Hotaru' (2004), 'Namida Drop' (2006), 'Fukuro' (2009), 'Shion' (2012), 'Rakka' (2015) and 'Inside Out' (2017). They have released many concert DVDs including 'Merry Go Around the World' (2008), 'Ammonite Jitsuen-Ban' (2011) and 'Live' (2015). Their 2019 schedule was to include appearances at venues in Kawasaki, Kunamoto, Fukuoka, Aichi, Osaka and Ichikawa.
