Bulgarian singer Poli Guénova, born in Sofia on February 10, 1987, is a specialist in the Eurovision Song Contest, which she has attempted twice. She began her career in 1995 with the group Bon-Bon on a children's TV show, and went on to win several singing competitions in her native country. In 2011, she narrowly missed out on selection for the Eurovision Song Contest with her song "Na Inat" ("stubborn"). Chosen to be a juror on the Bulgarian version of X Factor, in 2015 Poli Guénola presented the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, held that year in Sofia. On May 14, 2016, she tried her luck again at the 61st edition in Stockholm, where she finished in fourth place with the song "If Love Was A Crime".
