Polo G

Taurus Tremani Bartlett, better known by his stage name Polo G, is an American hip-hop artist who began making waves with platinum-certified singles in 2019. Born in Chicago on January 6, 1999, he started rapping as a teenager in his hometown. After uploading his early tracks to various audio and video platforms, Polo G achieved his first platinum-certified hit with "Finer Things," released in 2019. That same year, he dropped "Pop Out," featuring fellow rapper Lil Tjay, which climbed to Number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and eventually went six-times platinum. Other hit singles from 2019 included "Battle Cry," "Deep Wounds," and "Heartless," all of which appeared on his platinum-selling debut album, Die a Legend. By 2020, Polo G had solidified his status as a star with the release of The Goat, which climbed to Number 2 on the Billboard 200. He topped the charts in 2021 with Hall of Fame, an album that included his international hit single "Rapstar" which reached Number 1 in the US, Canada, and New Zealand, earning triple-platinum status in the US. The follow-up single, "Gang Gang," featuring Lil Wayne, was certified gold. Hall of Fame was released on June 11, 2021, debuting at number one on the US Billboard 200, marking his first Number 1 album. Later that year, on December 3, he released Hall of Fame 2.0, a deluxe edition featuring fourteen new songs alongside the original twenty tracks. The album included guest appearances from Lil Baby, Moneybagg Yo, YungLiV, NLE Choppa, and Lil Tjay. On June 3, 2022, Polo G released the single "Distraction," which reached number 7 on the US Rap charts. On August 11, he became the first and only rapper to have all of his albums certified double-platinum. On February 16, 2024, he dropped the non-album single "Sorrys & Ferraris" followed by Hood Poet (stylised as H.O.O.D P.O.E.T) in August 2024, which debuted at number 5 and featured the tracks "Angels in the Sky" and "We Uh Shoot" (with Lil Durk).
