Chinese singer-songwriter Pu Shu earned his stripes as a musician at the turn of the millennium with a duo of albums, I’m Marching Towards the Year 2000 (1999) – which featured hit singles “The Birch Forest” and “Journey” – and Live Like The Summer Flower (2003), which featured the popular single “Colorful Days”. 2004 was a fruitful year for Shu, who won six gongs at the annual Pepsi Music Chart Awards, held in Shenzhen. Following the release of Shu’s second album, he retired from the spotlight but returned 11 years later in 2014 with “The Ordinary Road”, created for director Han Han's directorial debut – road-trip movie The Continent. The C-pop star released follow-up single "Baby, Dania" in November 2016.
