Purple Disco Machine

Purple Disco Machine (* 1980 in Dresden) is a DJ and disco and house producer from Germany. Born Tino Schmidt, the future artist discovered his love for house music as a teenager in the mid-1990s. He subsequently worked as a DJ. It was not until 2012 that he began releasing his own productions under the name Purple Disco Machine. This also brought him international fame as a DJ and producer. In 2017, Purple Disco Machine released his debut album Soulmatic. It was not until 2020 that Purple Disco Machine made his breakthrough with the single "Hypnotized". With Sophie And The Giants on vocals, the song reached number 11 in the German singles charts. It reached number 28 in Switzerland and number 30 in Austria. Purple Disco Machine released two more singles, "Fireworks" and "Dopamine", in 2021. In the same year, Purple Disco Machine released its second studio album, Exotica. The remix album Club Exotica follows later. Purple Disco Machine also makes a name for himself with remixed versions of other artists. Among others, the DJ delivers remixes for Kylie Minogue, Elton John, Calvin Harris, Mousse T. and Gorillaz. In March 2023, he had a single hit with the song "Substitution" together with Kungs and Julian Perretta . The single reached the top 20 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, among other countries. The single "Beat of Your Heart" (together with Ásdís) reached number 50 in the German charts at the beginning of 2024. Purple Disco Machine's next studio album, Paradise, follows in September of the same year.
