QBS, the second official sub-group of the South Korean girl group T-ara, consists of three members: Boram, Qri, and Soyeon. Concentrating solely on the Japanese market, the trio released their debut single "Kaze no Yō ni" (風のように, "Like the Wind") on June 26, 2013. The track achieved notable chart positions, reaching number 13 on the Oricon charts, number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100, and number 9 on the Billboard Singles chart. Despite their early success, in May 2017, Boram and Soyeon's exclusive contracts with MBK Entertainment expired, leading to their departure from both the agency and T-ara, effectively resulting in the disbandment of the trio.
