Known for his soulful vocal delivery and his slick R&B-inflected brand of electro pop, Quinn Lewis is an Australian-born, Nashville-based singer-songwriter who went viral in 2017 with his single “Slipping.” A Brisbane native, he spent a great part of his childhood travelling around the world with his family before settling in the United States. At the age of 13, he taught himself how to play guitar and discovered a passion for songwriting. After graduating from high school, Quinn Lewis moved to Nashville to study music at the renowned Belmont University, where he started working on his first demos. Two years later, he decided to quit school to focus on his career and teamed up with producer Danen Reed, who helped him revamp his sound by adding electronic beats and atmospheric textures into the mix. Quinn Lewis made his official debut with the EP Addicted in 2016 and followed up with the viral single “Slipping” in 2017. Further singles “In Between,” “Weekend Luv,” and “How You’ve Been” all saw the light in 2018 to great critical acclaim, solidifying his status as a rising star in the world of pop music. That same year, he also played his first SXSW showcase. Following a handful of well-received singles during 2019, Quinn Lewis dropped Everyone But Me, his debut full-length, in 2020. Propelled by the singles “Unhuman,” “Back Then,” “Hear It In Your Voice,” and the title track, the album garnered comparisons with the likes of Frank Ocean, James Blake, and Sam Smith.
